Business Analyst
Location: Matawan, NJ (Onsite)
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
Overview
We are seeking an onsite Business Analyst to support business and system initiatives within a fast-paced retail environment. This role partners with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze solutions, and support projects focused on business process improvement and technology modernization.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams throughout the SDLC
- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
- Support project planning, scope control, timelines, and delivery
- Conduct root-cause analysis and assist with risk mitigation
- Ensure quality and accuracy of project deliverables
- Participate in testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business and/or Systems Analyst
- Experience in Project Management or functional business roles
- 2+ years of SAP experience (FI/CO, MM, CAR, Retail, PI/PO, Hybris)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tools like Jira or ServiceNow
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Retail or Grocery experience preferred
- S/4 HANA, PMP/PMI, or SAP certifications are a plus
