Position Overview
As a Private Aviation Sales Representative (1099), you will generate and manage your own portfolio of clients seeking private flight services. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry to trip completion.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor role — ideal for self-driven professionals who excel in consultative sales and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Manage inbound inquiries and follow up with potential clients promptly.
- Develop and maintain a book of business, including existing and repeat customers.
- Provide personalized charter quotes and flight recommendations.
- Follow up with clients before and after flights to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Track all sales activities using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the JetBetter operations team to coordinate client requests and logistics.
- Uphold JetBetter’s standard of professionalism, service, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Reliable internet and phone access during office hours.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Background in private aviation, luxury travel, real estate, or high-end services.
- Established network of business or high-net-worth clients.
- Experience managing a commission-only book of business.
Compensation & Work Structure
- Pay: Sales Reps will earn 50% of the commission on all charter flight sales and 50% of the 10% commission generated from JetCard sales.
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (recommended), Monday through Friday.
- Benefits: None (independent contractor role).
