We are seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager with experience in
mortgage and real estate who is passionate about helping lenders and Realtor partners
grow their business through education, training, and strategic support.
Position Summary
The Account Manager serves as the primary relationship manager and strategic partner
for mortgage lenders, loan officers, branch managers, and real estate agents utilizing
Calque’s Buy Before You Sell programs. This role blends account management, partner
success, training, sales enablement, and business development support to drive
adoption and engagement of our BBYS programs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands residential real
estate and mortgage workflows, and can confidently educate partners on how Calque
solutions help borrowers buy before selling their current home.
This individual will play a critical role in increasing partner activation, strengthening
referral relationships, and helping lenders and agents win more purchase business in
competitive housing markets.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Relationship Management
● Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned lender and real estate
accounts.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with loan officers, producing branch
managers, mortgage executives, and Realtor partners.
● Develop trusted advisor relationships by understanding partner business goals
and identifying opportunities to increase utilization of Calque programs.
Training & Education
● Educate partners on Calque’s Buy Before You Sell solutions, including:
○ The Trade-In Mortgage™
○ Contingency Buster™
● Lead virtual and in-person onboarding sessions, Lunch & Learns, branch
trainings and webinars
● Coach loan officers and agents on how to position Calque solutions effectively
with borrowers and referral partners.
● Deliver ongoing education regarding program guidelines, eligibility, transaction
structure, and best practices.
Account Activation & Growth
● Drive partner activation and adoption while also focusing on driving repeat LO
business.
● Identify opportunities to expand relationships within lender organizations and real
estate teams.
● Collaborate with sales leadership to support pipeline growth and partner retention
initiatives.
● Assist with launching new lender partnerships and onboarding newly signed
accounts.
● Monitor account performance metrics and proactively re-engage inactive
partners.
Transaction & Partner Support
● Support partners throughout the customer journey by answering questions and
coordinating with internal operations teams.
● Help ensure smooth transaction execution by assisting with communication,
expectations, and escalation management when needed.
● Guide partners through deal structuring scenarios involving contingent offers,
equity access, and bridge-style solutions.
● Act as the internal advocate for lender and Realtor partners to ensure a best-in-
class customer experience.
Qualifications
Required
● 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
○ Mortgage lending
○ Real estate sales
○ Account management
○ Loan coordination or processing
○ Customer success within mortgage, real estate, or proptech industries
● Strong understanding of residential real estate transactions and mortgage
financing.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
● Experience managing multiple accounts, priorities, and partner relationships
simultaneously.
● Comfortable presenting to groups both virtually and in person.
● Self-starter with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Preferred
● Experience supporting mortgage lenders, loan officers, or Realtor partnerships.
● Familiarity with bridge financing, contingent offers, home equity solutions, or Buy
Before You Sell programs.
● Experience working within a fast-growing startup, fintech, or proptech
environment.
● CRM experience (HubSpot, or similar).
● Active or previous real estate license or NMLS license is a plus.
