Florida is one of the most important spirits markets in the US and a natural home for premium tequila. We need someone ready to make it ours.
- We self-distribute through Park Street, which means there is no distributor sales team between you and the market. You are the front line. Every placement, every new account, every reorder comes down to your relationships, your hustle, and your ability to get through doors that other people walk past. That is what makes this role exciting: the results are yours.
- Florida is a unique market. Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville: each has its own character, its own accounts, and its own way of doing business. We need someone who understands that and can work the whole state, not just one postcode. The Latin American influence, the tourism-driven volume, the luxury hospitality scene: it all plays to Enemigo’s strengths if you know how to activate it.
- This is a field sales role in the truest sense. You will spend your days in accounts, not behind a laptop. Some of those accounts you will already know. Others you will cold-call, walk into, and win over. We need someone who can do both, comfortably and consistently.
- A major new SKU launches in SOND 2026 at a lower shelf price, with the same outstanding liquid Enemigo is known for. That opens up an entirely new tier of accounts for you to attack. If you have ever wanted to build a brand across every level of the Florida market, from South Beach hotel bars to high-volume retail, this is the role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Sell. Every day. This role is measured on placements, volume, and new account wins. The rest is secondary.
- Be in market across the state. Walk into restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail stores and introduce Enemigo to buyers who have never heard of it.
- Leverage your existing network across on- and off-premise accounts in Florida to accelerate distribution from day one.
- Build deep, lasting relationships with bartenders, sommeliers, beverage directors, and retail buyers across all major Florida markets.
- Conduct tastings, staff trainings, and brand activations that create genuine pull at account level.
- Lead the in-market launch of the new value SKU in SOND, securing placements across both prestige and volume channels.
- Work the tourism and hospitality corridor. Florida’s hotel, resort, and cruise-adjacent accounts represent significant volume and visibility.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, pipeline, and sales data. Keep it simple, keep it honest.
- Feed market intelligence back to leadership: what is working, what is not, what competitors are doing, and where the opportunities are.
- Represent Enemigo at trade events, tastings, and industry functions across Florida.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience in spirits, wine, or beverage sales in the Florida market with a genuine contact book you can activate immediately.
- Knowledge of Florida’s key markets: Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Tampa Bay, Orlando, and beyond. You understand that Florida is not one market but several.
- Equally comfortable walking into a new account cold and working a room where you already know everyone.
- Relentless on follow-up. You do not let opportunities go stale.
- Self-motivated and organised. You plan your own week, manage your own route, and do not need someone checking on you.
- A natural communicator who can read a room and adapt. You sell differently to a Brickell cocktail bar than you do to a big-box retailer in Jacksonville.
- Genuine passion for spirits. You drink the category (responsibly), you know what is happening in it, and you have an opinion on where it is going.
- Comfortable with the physical reality of field sales across a big state: you are on your feet, in and out of accounts, carrying samples, and covering serious ground.
- Hungry to grow. This is a junior-to-mid level role with real upside for someone who delivers.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
First 90 Days | Learn and Land
- Know the portfolio inside out. Taste everything, understand the production story, and be able to sell it with conviction.
- Map your territory. Identify the top 50 target accounts across Florida’s key markets, spanning luxury, mid-tier, and volume channels.
- Begin activating your existing contacts: first meetings booked, first placements secured.
- Establish a daily and weekly rhythm of account visits across your territory. Set a pace you can sustain and build on.
- Build a working relationship with leadership and the wider team. Understand how the business operates and where you fit.
Months 4–6 | Build Momentum
- Consistent new account openings month on month across multiple Florida markets. Your pipeline should be growing, not flattening.
- Reorder rates climbing in early placements. New doors are only valuable if they keep buying.
- A clear picture of the competitive landscape and your territory’s strengths and gaps.
- Pre-sell groundwork underway for the SOND new SKU launch. Target accounts identified, buyers briefed, launch calendar taking shape.
- A visible presence in the Florida trade. People in your territory should be starting to associate you with Enemigo.
Months 7–12 | Deliver
- Successful SOND launch of the new SKU with strong placement across both prestige and volume accounts statewide.
- Distribution and volume targets met or exceeded.
- A healthy, growing book of accounts with strong relationships at buyer level across Florida’s major markets.
- A reputation in the Florida trade as someone who is serious, reliable, and worth taking a meeting with.
- A clear case for expanded responsibility, whether that means a bigger territory, a leadership path, or both.

COMPENSATION
Base salary of $90,000–$105,000 depending on experience, plus benefits and a performance-based bonus structure. This is a role for someone motivated by building something and being rewarded for it.
